Visit of Sajedeh NOROZPOUR (Gelisim University, Turkey) to UTTOP

As part of its internationalization efforts, UTTOP had the pleasure of welcoming Sajedeh NOROZPOUR, a mathematics lecturer at Istanbul Gelisim University (Turkey), for a visit from May 20 to 24. Her stay contributed to strengthening academic ties between the two institutions through shared teaching, research dialogue, and innovation.

The week began on Tuesday, May 20, with a welcome coffee, followed by a joint linear algebra class with UTTOP instructors Marilyne MARTY-GUILLAUMONT and Anne COSSONNIERE. This collaborative session provided a platform for comparing teaching practices across different cultural contexts.
At noon, a lunch at the UTTOP Villa offered a warm, informal setting to continue the conversations. In the afternoon, Sajedeh NOROZPOUR was given a guided tour of the campus, showcasing UTTOP’s academic and research facilities.

On Thursday, May 22, she taught another linear algebra session and delivered a presentation of Gelisim University, sharing its strategic directions and international initiatives with the local academic team and the students.
In the afternoon, she visited the Virtual Reality Laboratory, where she met with Philippe FILLATREAU and Gloria ADEGU to explore immersive technologies and their pedagogical applications.

This visit was marked by fruitful academic exchange and opened new avenues for cooperation between UTTOP and Gelisim University.
